A good funeral is not just a ceremony, it is about celebrating a person’s life, acknowledging our loss, and helping to cope with our grief. They are an integral part of our lives, and are important as a collective farewell to someone who we all love. There will of course be tears, but funerals can also include laughter as well as reflection of how our world is better for having contained the life of the person gone.
When somebody dies, there is so much to organise, it is a very busy time. I will do all I can to help make such a difficult time a little bit easier. I will meet with you and other family members and or friends where we will talk at length to plan the ceremony. We will discuss your loved ones life, the significant events, as well as the many stories you will have of life spent with them. We will discuss their sense of humour, their personality, what made them happy, made them laugh, it is important I know as much as I can about your loved one so the ceremony reflects their life and personality making it a perfect celebration. Everything will be done to make sure we create a very loving and personal funeral ceremony based entirely on you and your family’s wishes.
I will liaise with your chosen funeral director and crematorium or cemetery staff to make sure that everything is in place for the funeral service. On the day, I will conduct a beautiful, heartfelt and fitting ceremony, with love, care and respect leaving you with presentation copy of the ceremony as a keepsake.
Ceremonies with Ceremonia really are a celebration of a life.
