I’m a very proud mum to three wonderful grown-up daughters, and a grandmother to six grandchildren who keep me on my toes and make life extra special. I love cooking, especially trying out new vegan recipes and I’m passionate about protecting our planet and standing up for positive social change in every area of life. Spending time with family and friends is one of my greatest joys, and my philosophy is simple: fill your life with the things (and people!) you love.
Before becoming a celebrant, I spent many years working in safeguarding, developing and managing family support services in Children’s Centres and schools. I’ve always been committed to addressing inequality and creating safe, supportive spaces where people can thrive. I’m also a director of a Community Interest Company that brings women from disadvantaged communities together through songwriting, supporting them to share their stories, build confidence, and find connections. I believe everyone deserves a good life and a good death.
Becoming a celebrant felt like a natural next step. I wanted to help people have the very best ceremonies, occasions that truly reflect who they are, what they’ve loved, and the dreams they’ve followed.
